Love is in the Air - Blog Hop

Hello to you all!  Here we are already at another awesome blog hop.  This time we decided to do something with love.  When ever I think of love I think of Paris so I had to use my favorite Paris stamp set Artistic Etching. I also wanted to do something that could be used any time of the year and given to almost anybody.   Hope you like it, I had fun making it.

Holiday Shimmer blog hop- Finally!

Welcome Dreamin' Inker!

Hello to you!  The wait if finally over!  I have been so excited to post this card for our "Holiday Shimmer Hop"   This card used the dryer sheet technique.  It is a really easy technique that gives a huge WOW! effect.

All you do is stamp your card how you would like, I used Stampin up's classic "lovely has a tree" set.  Then use spray adhesive on your newly ironed USED, yes used dryer sheet (cut to your cards dimensions).  Place on top of your stamped images, it will be a little sticky, then take Stampin' Up! dazzling detail glitter, the finest glitter out there, and pour it all over your card.  Shake off the excess and VOILA!, you have a beautiful card front you can decorate as you wish.  I used Stampin' Up! "deck the halls" fabric to give it a more rustic look.  Give it a try, it is really easy and people think you did something amazing (it will be our little secret).

I hope you have a great time hopping to our next blog and go get inspired for the holiday season.  See you later!

Boo! My kids class craft

BOO to all of you!  I can't believe it is already Halloween!  October is over, CRAZY!
I am loving the beautiful weather though, I love that my kids won't have to bundle up for trick or treating.  Well on to why you are here.  I am helping with my kids class Halloween party so I thought of this little ghost for an easy craft for them.  Love that all it is paper plates and streamers.  Just add a few black paper punches (I used stampin up punches, they are so easy to use) for the face, your ribbon to hold it and there you have it a super easy craft for kids of all ages.   I saw this on pinterest and love it so I had to try it.  I would love to know what you all did for crafts this Halloween.
Check back to see the fun digital scrapbook page I made of there day!

My Halloween Ghoules

I kept seeing these cute little guys on cards so I got thinking... How hard would it be to put them on blocks?

Well it was not that hard, it was actually really fun. I had so much fun inking and punching all the paper up and then gluing it on the painted wood. I had so much fun I am going to be holding a class and even putting them in kits so people can make them at home if they would like. If you are interested in a kit let me know.

Stenciling on my Salon Wall

I had so much fun painting with these stencils on my salon wall.  This is what my clients see right when they walk in the door.  I am so happy with how it turned out. I won't lie my honey did the math to figure out how to get it all even.  I have to say we make a great team.  Let me know what you think.  Take a look back and see what the wall looked like before.

Family Wall Art

I have this above my couch in my living room. I had a big wall space that I wanted to use and decorate so I used 12x12 canvas and glued paper and my pictures on it. I used staz on ink to paint the sides of the canvas to give it a 'wrapped" looked. Lots cheaper than real canvas and I get to showcase my paper.
